Bergell and Savogno

Memories of this week from Monday to Thursday when I
was in Arcadia! And suddenly everything is covered in snow.
Savogno is a beautiful mountain village in the Italian Bergell. no
Carriage road up there. A beautiful trek leads
steeply up from Villa di Chiavenna through wild
chestnut forests. Black and white spotted goats
roam him. Lizards sun themselves.
In the Swiss Bergell in Maloja, the blue Lake Sils.
The mountain "Piz Lagrev" dominates everything.

Not Like Us - ArtRage

Poverty and corrupt power relations of
irresponsible politicians are the sworn enemies
of this peaceful giants.
Homo sapiens (intelligent viable / wise man) called
Us 1758 the scientist Carl von Linné Ideals are difficult to reach.

Painted in ArtRage.

Here are the pencil drawings.
Originally I wanted the group of figures on a small hill
place, before the wide plain of Rwanda. Then I'm looking for a
chose "hidden" and thus more intimate jungle representation.

The three-dimensional effect of my bat stamp for the Swiss Post

The technique makes it possible: My bat (as like in the
Nature) has a three-dimensional plasticity! She is so fine and realistic that
they can be seen only on the second moment. A temptation for everyone
philatelic fingers :-)!
This special edition is only available this month and only about the
Store sales of the Swiss Post (not available from post offices).
Goes two posts back to seen the whole stamp...

Milchspülersee

The Milchspülersee is located in the canton of Glarus in 2200 m altitude.
I have often looked at him, and one day I would like to paint him.
For me one of the most beautiful mountain lakes. Its blue waters mirroring is unique.
Of course I was looking for other artists who have painted him yet
but it seems that its remote location (an arduous ascent)
the artist has to be prevented from visiting him.
He is also a very challenging subject. The many details do not allow free painting.
20x13 cm, watercolor Moleskine book, Schminke and Winsor & Newton,
White gouache, sepia brown and blue ballpoint ( drawing and shadows),
colored pencils Supracolor.
