Ay, now am I in Arden ; the more fool I.
Frontispiece
I pray thee, Rosalind, sweet my coz, be merry.
Charles and Orlando Wrestle
Fare you well, fair gentleman
And wheresoe'er we went, like Juno's swans.
Still we went coupled and inseparable
Beauty provoketh thieves sooner than gold
To-day my Lord of Amiens and myself
Upon the brook that brawls along this wood
Rosalind. O Jupiter ! how weary are my spirits !
Touchstone. I care not for my spirits, if my legs were not weary,
The Wooing of Jane Smile
Amiens.Under the green-wood tree
Who loves to lie with me.
And turn his merry note
Unto the sweet bird's throat.
Dear master, I can go no further: O, I die for food!
' Thus we may see,' quoth he, ' how the world wags '
If ladies be but young and fair,
They have the gift to know it.
Creeping like snail unwillingly to school
Blow, blow, thon winter wind
Hang there, my verse, in witness of my love
Learn of the wise, and perpend
Sweet Phebe, do not scorn me
Enter Rosalind, Celia, and Corin, behind
Sweet youth, I pray you, chide a year together :
I had rather hear you chide than this man woo
