 Clara E. Atwood Fitts was born October 6, 1874, in Worcester, Massachusetts. Fitts, a pupil of the Boston Museum of Fine Arts School, was a member of the American Federation of Arts. She mainly illustrated children's books. In some books the name variant Clara E Atwood is found.
